Hi there, welcome!

I’m Bridie, a Doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine practising in the beautiful South West, from clinics in Margaret River, Busselton and Nannup.

My approach combines Classical East Asian Medicine with modern integrative practice, blending ancient diagnostic frameworks with current clinical understanding to help the body return to balance. I love general practise and treat a wide range of conditions every week, across all ages (from a few months old). I have a special interest, and postgraduate training, in pain conditions, women’s health, dermatology and paediatrics.

What first drew me to this potent medicine was my own experience during a period of burnout. In my twenties, I ran a social enterprise that expanded nationally within a few short years. I found myself dealing with a range of symptoms that were impacting my day to day. Insomnia, menstrual disturbances, vertigo, tingling in my hands and brain fog all seemed unrelated, but East Asian Medicine helped me recognise the connected patterns of imbalance, and through acupuncture and herbs I started shifting back into balance. That experience sparked a deep respect for this medicine and continues to shape how I practise today; with curiosity, compassion, and an awareness of how deeply our internal and external worlds are linked.

As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I’m committed to creating a space that is genuinely inclusive and queer-friendly. I also aim to offer care that is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed, and body-positive. I happily work within exisiting treatment plans wether that includes pharmaceutical or other therapeutic supports.

Accessibility matters to me. I offer lower-cost community clinic sessions in Margaret River and Nannup every week to make high quality acupuncture available to more people.

Outside of clinic, you’ll usually find me planning my next long-distance hike, slinging clay on the pottery wheel, or pottering about in the garden.
